Connecting to AstateSecure
AState Secure is the Wi-Fi network you will need to use while on campus. You can log in with your A-State email address and password.
1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. The app should look like this image below.
2. Once you've opened the app, click on the Wi-Fi section on the lefthand side of the Settings page.
3. After this, click on AstateSecure.
4. This should bring up a page where you can type in your A-State email address and password. After you've typed in this information, click Join.
5. A new page will come like the image below that asks you to Trust this network. You will want to click Trust. Once you do this, you should be successfully signed into the AstateSecure network.
Forgetting a Wi-Fi Network
Forgetting the network is a good way to troubleshoot any Wi-Fi issues you may be experiencing. Go through these steps to see if you can self solve your issues!
1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Once you've opened the app, click on the Wi-Fi section on the lefthand side of the Settings page.
3. After this, next to the AstateSecure button, you should see an information symbol that you will need to click on.
4. Once you do this, you should see an option to Forget This Network. Click on this and then click Forget again.
Once you complete Steps 1-4, you will be successfully disconnected from the AstateSecure network. In order to reconnect to the AstateSecure network, you will need to go through Steps 1-5 of the Connecting to AstateSecure instructions above. These steps can also be used to Forget the Home @ Astate network if necessary. You would instead click on Home @ Astate and then click Forget.
