Proper Adobe Installation

If you are finding yourself unable to download a specific Adobe program, such as Adobe Reader or Photoshop, or can download them but only use a limited version, you may be logging in incorrectly to the Adobe website or Creative Cloud.

When you sign in to Adobe, do not enter your credentials in the box on the Sign In screen.

Instead, click on the box under OR that says Continue with Google. This will redirect you to a page to either sign in through ASU or to choose an account. Make sure that you choose the account that is in our Adobe users group or student group. This will be either the @asumh.edu or @u.asumh.edu profile that you acquired through ASUMH.

Once you are signed in, you can click the menu squares in the top right corner to download the Creative Cloud, which gives you an easy-to-use portal in which you can find all of the Adobe products that are available to your account.

I have found that it is easier to find the application that you wish to download through the Creative Cloud rather than the browser Adobe website. It saves a lot of time and searching and also eliminates most of our common errors.
