Respondus LockDown Browser is necessary for some classes at ASUMH. This link will tell you a bit about Respondus and also includes the download specific to Arkansas State University - Mountain Home.

When using LockDown Browser, you will need to open the application before starting your test on BlackBoard.

If your Windows laptop is opening the Microsoft Store and telling you that Lockdown Browser cannot be found or installed, your PC may be in Windows S Mode. S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode.
